Eggless chocolate cake recipe | How to make chocolate cake without eggs

This soft, moist and delicious eggless chocolate cake is made with plain flour, cocoa, oil, baking soda, water and lemon juice or vinegar.

This is known as a war cake or depression cake. It is said to have been come to existence since the world war when there was shortage for ration. So this cake was made with out butter, eggs or milk.

It is a vegan cake and can be tried even by beginners. This recipe needs no mixer or beater. Just mix the wet ingredients and sieve the dry ingredients. Then mix them up to make the batter.

This eggless chocolate cake is very light but is good to make a layer cake.

To make it rich you can make a chocolate butter cream frosting or chocolate sauce.
